Antiphon: Great is his love, love without end. (repeat after each line)\nO give thanks to the Lord for he is good,\nGive thanks to the God of gods,\nGive thanks to the Lord of lords.\n2. Who alone has wrought marvellous works,\nWhose wisdom it was made the skies,\nWho spread the earth on the seas.\n3. It was He who made the great lights,\nThe sun to rule in the day,\nThe moon and stars in the night.\n4. The first-born of the Egyptians he smote,\nBrought Israel out from their midst,\nArm outstretched with power in his hand.\n1 7\n5. He divided the Red Sea in two,\nMade Israel pass through the midst,\nFlung Pharaoh and his force in the sea.\n6. Through the desert his people he led,\nNations in their greatness he struck,\nKings in their splendour he slew.\n7.
