WHERE CHARITY AND LOVE PREVAIL

Where charity and love prevail,\nThere God is ever found,\nCalled here together by Christ’s love,\nBy love are we thus bound.\n2. With grateful joy and holy fear\nHis charity we learn;\nLet us with heart and soul and mind\nNow love him in return.\n3. Forgive we now each other’s faults\nAs we our faults confess.\nAnd let us love each other well\nIn Christian holiness.\n4. Let strife among us be unknown,\nMay all contentions cease;\nBe his the glory that we seek\nBe ours his holy peace.\n5. Let us recall that in our midst,\nDwells God’s begotten Son,\nAs members of his body,\nJoined we are in him made one.\n6. No race nor creed can love exclude,\nIf honoured be God’s name.\nOur brotherhood embraces all\nWhose Father is the same.
